The wrinkle advice team researched the leading anti-aging and wrinkle products on the market. Our focus was on an extensive list of products based on our discussions with industry professionals and consumers.
We spoke to and surveyed people who actually use these products and did our own in-house testing noting the result of each product over time. After review of our findings and creating a methodology to decide which criteria would weigh heaviest in the results, we narrowed the list down to what we believe to be the top 6 wrinkle products for 2009.

Pronutrex Intensive Super Serum received the best overall rating among all the anti-wrinkle products that we reviewed. We loved this product! It is extremely effective and based on the quality and cost of the raw ingredients it is very reasonably priced. It really is packed with a ton of ingredients that are known to be effective. It contains DMAE, Coenzyme Q10, Vitamin A (Retinol Palmitate), Vitamin B, Vitamin C (Ester C), Vitamin E, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acids and Meadowfoam oil. We could not find so many good thing in any other products. This product really does work and has produced amazing results for many of our respondents. Our test subjects noticed smoother, softer skin in as little as three days and reduction of fine lines and wrinkles within 7-20 days. Comments from people who now use Pronutrex Intensive Super Serum is really what prompted us to rate this as our top wrinkle product. facial cream is based on peptide technology. This lightweight
concentrate featuring the Peptide-D58 complex claims to deliver
skin firming and antioxidant protection, while combating
fine lines. Women who use this product like the fact that it is non-irritating, allergy tested and fragrance free. We did get some people saying that it leaves their skin feeling a little dry. The lotion is very light and silky to the touch. It is not irritating or overwhelming at all. There's no greasy feel and no tingling sensation. This product is very mild and therefore works great on people with problem skin. Giving them that overall flawless appearance without aggravating sensitive skin. It's really hard to find a product that deals with the effects of aging that doesn't cause irritation on sensitive skin. overall this product got good reviews. The number one complaint was the cost and that is was not very effect at reducing wrinkles for some people.

Peter Thomas Roth Un-wrinkle claims to helps restore lost nutrients due to the aging process and the environment. Wrinkle relaxing and anti-aging peptides help reduce the appearance of fine lines. Helps boost natural collagen production and leaves skin looking soft and smooth. This product is good for for all skin types, except sensitive. Women we spoke to said this product does work well at reducing the appearance of wrinkles somewhat over time. Don't expect results overnight, but long term a fair amount of our respondents seemed to like it. We did have a few people say that if you have sensitive skin in may cause some irritation or break-outs. Also, it is expensive. Most people who use this product regularly, like everything about it except the price tag. A few people did say it had not effect for them at all. |

StriVectin-SD was brought to our attention by some people in the beauty industry It is one of those "lucky little accidents" that sometimes happens when products are developed. StriVectin-SD is a product that was originally developed for stretch-marks. When the company handed out samples of the StriVectin formula for market research, the sample tubes were simply marked "topical cream." The message became a little muddled and some people used this "topical cream" as a facial moisturizer. The company began to receive good feedback from users so they began marketing it as a wrinkle product. We have received some good feedback on this product. It did not work for everyone and it did irrate some peoples skin. Although it is pricey, the cost per ounce is in line with other quality wrinkle products. But, its still hard to shell out the $135 for one tube. |

Joey New York Line Up is a safe gel formula that gently fills-in and plumps-up the appearance of lines and wrinkles on the face, the eye area and neck. It is excellent to use around the delicate eye area to help reduce the look of puffiness and tighten slackened skin. Line up is an all-natural formula rich in collagen and nourishing extracts. Respondents we spoke to claim that it does work on facial lines. Also, that it instantly fills-in and plumps up lines and wrinkles. They say that it is more of a "quick fix" and not a treatment product. Women told us that is does work all day but that is more of a line filler and plumper. Women do however like this product because of the instant results even though they are temporary. During our testing we did notice that if you use too much, the gel can appear white and also leave the skin on your face feeling tight. So, use this product sparingly.One woman said it was just like putting sugar water on your face; "its sticky and then dries hard to make they skin feel tighter".

Cellex-C High Potency Serum is a lightweight aqueous formulation. Claims to helps to reduce the visible signs of aging, wrinkles and sagging skin. The combination of L-Ascorbic Acid (the only form of Vitamin C that the skin actually absorbs), Tyrosine and Zinc (which enhances the effects of the Vitamin C) help make the skin brighter and smoother. This combination also helps clear your complexion. People we spoke to, who use this product regularly, say they like it. Some people using Cellex-C say they have do see some results. It does take 8-12 weeks of daily use for the changes to happen but they say the results are sometimes worth the wait. Some respondents that we spoke to really like this Serum and say its does actually help their skin, not just plump up the wrinkles. They may have gotten "sticker shock" when they first saw the price tag but are now used to paying for a product they like. Complaints we heard, besides the price tag, was that it has a watery consistency. |
