SKIN CARE TIPS

The first impression you make is with your face. That is the first thing people look at when they meet you. Taking care of your skin is key to having of a good looking face. Caring for your face is an important thing that you can do for yourself and it's not very hard. The team at wrinkle advice put together some basic tips and simple guidelines to encourage you to care for your skin.

1) Cleaning your Skin
It is essential, that you clean your face every day, it doesn't matter if your skin type is oily, dry or normal. Deep cleaning using good soap keeps pores unclogged and skin healthy. Your choice of a cleansing product should be as additive-free as possible. Soap that contains perfumes or deodorants should not be used for your face. Soaps and cleansers with harsh or waxy ingredients can leave a waxy film behind. These cleansers can also irritate your skin and clog your pores. Select a product that is as natural and mild as possible.

1) Moisturize your Skin
The best thing you can do for your skin is keep it moisturized! Use products with the least amount of preservatives or cheap heavy waxes. Use a good moisturizer on your face after cleaning it and don't forget to moisturize your neck well. If your moisturizer has anti-aging ingredients in it as well that is even better. things such as collagen, elastin, matrixyl, Argireline will help with wrinkles. If you are going to be outside always slather on plenty of high UV protection sunscreen.

For more intensive moisturizing and to target damaged skin and wrinkles use products containing rich, healing ingredients, such as vitamin E, aloe vera oil or squalene. Our skin produces less of the oil that occurs naturally on the skin (sebum) as we age, so moisturizing becomes extremely important. (See our wrinkle product guide)
